Sheep nesting material holder

In a fun sheep design, this holder has been created to house nesting wool and material to help support birds in building their nests.

This sweet little ceramic sheep comes already stocked with sheep's wool, a great insulator for bird's nests. The wool provides great insulation for young chicks during cold weather.

Wild birds will actively seek out this warm, soft and strong material during the nesting months - February through to July - but please do not place the wool in a nest directly. Birds must tease the wool out of the holder themselves.

The ceramic holder is perfect for refilling season after season. It also makes a wonderful gift for bird (and sheep!) lovers.

Place a short firm twig through two of the holes for small birds to perch.
