Winter for birds

We’ve selected a few winter essentials to help your garden birds during the colder months. Bird baths provide an important source of water for drinking and bathing - remember to supply fresh water and keep it topped up (and non-frozen!). Easy-to-access food sources like roofed feeders that protect bird food from rain and snow should be popular in the colder months, as birds seek rich sources of fat and protein (think suet, mealworms and peanuts).
