Love the Red Woodpeckers but...
Steel cover for bird box to protect against the likes of the above predator. Having seen chicks ripped from the nest on camera last year I decided to add a little protection. I know that it's natural for predators to act like this but I just need it to not be on the box with the camera. Amazingly the woodpecker gave it a good go but obviously he got a headache and gave up.
