fine so long as you don't have squirrels
great if you don't have squirrels. They just knock it off the branch and get the scattered food form it. One has even dragged the feeder along to get all the nuts out. Had to wrap duck tape around the 2 hooks but it still managed to get it off the branch. If you wrap the top hook properly then difficult to refill feeder.

Does the job it says
I bought the tree hook, instead of buying a pole, as I considered it a more attractive option, as well as making feeding safer from cats.
The hook is well made, a nice green colour, and the hook size makes it possible to be hung from a range of different branches.

Functional and economical
The hook allows you to hang a feeder right from the higher branches of your tree (far from predators) without the hassle of a ladder or a spot of impromptu tree climbing. It looks good, does the job and at this price I have ordered two more.
