Product description

Bursting with nutrients, energy and natural goodness, our premium sunflower hearts are a favourite with garden birds.

Sunflower hearts are the kernels of black sunflower seeds, with the husks already removed so that birds can eat them with ease, while minimising the mess in your garden.

They're quick and easy to eat, and are particularly appreciated by tits, greenfinches, goldfinches, blackbirds and house sparrows.

How to use

Put these plump, whole sunflower hearts in seed feeders, on bird tables or on the ground all year round and treat lots of species to bird food rich in oil and protein.

advice

Keeping your garden birds healthy

Bird feeders should be cleaned weekly to protect your garden birds from infectious diseases.

Dismantle the feeder and clean with a suitable disinfectant or a mild (5%) bleach solution, using a brush or scraper to remove tough dirt. Rinse after cleaning and ensure that components are dry before reassembling the feeder.

Always clean feeders outside while wearing waterproof gloves.
