    Excellent
Lovely big bird bath, the graduated sides make it suitable for all sizes of birds to both drink and bathe. Easy to clean, and the capacity means I don't have to refill it every day, even in warm weather. Highly recommend.

    Great bird bath
The birds are delighted with the bath which I has been used for drinking and bathing.
It is quite robust. The shape is pleasing.
This evening the hedgehog used it too. I would post a photo but can’t see how to.

    Bird Bath
First time I've ordered from this website and my experience has been mixed which is why I can only give 3 stars. Firstly, I paid extra for a next day delivery and it didn't arrive sadly, despite ordering it with the stipulated time frame. Sent an email through the 'contact us' channel that evening and you just get an automated response email and haven't had any reply from a human for more than 2 days now. Secondly, the Bird Bath colour is fine, more stone coloured now with lovely dotted speckles but it has a gouge on the rim near the text sadly. Can't be bothered to return it as nature will cover it in all sorts after a week. Just disappointed that quality control didn't pick up the gouge before it was sealed in the cardboard box. Hoping for a better experience when I order something another time.

    Low level bird bath
Lovely item with considered design of ridged steps gradually deepening, make this a bird bath that the majority of small and medium sized birds feel safe using. Witnessed Blackbirds, Starlings, Sparrows, Robins, Blue tit and other small birds using it for both drinking and bathing. The inscribed phrase was quite poignant for it was a gift for a family member.

The Birds & I Love It!
I had to go back and check when I'd purchased as it was such a long time ago Dec 2019, and remained boxed for a month or so whilst landscaping was finished in garden. Was put out with water around Jan/Feb 2020 and has provided me and the blackbirds, robins, sparrows, blue tits, great tits, goldfinch, starlings, magpies, jackdaws, collared doves and wood pigeons such joy. I waited to review as I was nervous regarding frost/cracking having read reviews. So I remembered about when we had a pond I was advised to put a ball on the surface in winter to allow a 'air hole' or something anyway. So I placed a lovely old stone frog ornament into the bath to allow for any winter freezing. I don't remember the weather particularly in early 2020 (there was too much globally to attend to) but my beautiful bath remained intact and used daily by all. Earlier this year, 2021, we've had the most horrendous frosts and freezing temps and the baths I have froze regularly. Every morning I walked down to the bath, picked up the frog by its head and removed the entire 'lid' of ice which was more than a centimetre thick regularly. Using the frog I broke up the disc and then refilled the bath which the birds were quick to return to.
I do regularly give it a squirt of ark-klens and a scrub to ensure no bacterial spread between species but its very easy.
So perhaps I'm lucky but this bath has been through two winters, has frozen regularly and the birds are still enjoying it now as I type this.
Thank you RSPB. (I just wish it was a little bit cheaper!)

    Fantastic
Birds of all sizes (from a wren, through blue and great tits, robins, chaffinches, blackbirds and doves to woodpigeons) love this to drink from and to bathe in - I get so much joy watching them. I've had this over a year so it's made it through winter with no ill effect. It's sited on a slate slab to keep it level in the garden. Was hoping to buy another and am sad to see they are currently unavailable.

    Birdbath
I was given the shenstone birdbath as a present, and the birds loved it. However when the water froze a large crack appeared which we managed to glue together and it survived the summer but after another hard frost it has cracked again and no longer holds water.
    RSPB response
Thank you. It is great to hear than the birds enjoyed this bird bath and we are sorry for the quality issue. This is a known fault which was resolved by the manufacturer earlier in the year. Please contact customer services who will be happy to help.

Loved by us and the blackbirds!
We had had mixed success with this birdbath until we took it off its stand and placed it onto some shaped earth in our border. Now we have daily visits from bird families who either dive in together (sparrows) or wait in turn (blackbirds). So glad we persevered and tried out different locations in the garden.
I’m not sure who gets more enjoyment out of it, the birds taking their dip, or us watching them splash around!

    Did not last a week
This was a Christmas present and by New Year’s Day it was broken. It was pushed from its plinth by an animal overnight on to grass and the rim is smashed in several places. Very disappointed.

    Nice product
I received the bird bath as a birthday gift and am delighted with it. The only negative I can see is that the base is a different colour to the top and it is very hard to put together. That said it won't come apart in a hurry but it is a bit lop sided, and you don't really see the base once in situ. The positives are it is made from recycled plastics therefore environmentally friendly and appears to be very sturdy. It's a nice stylish design with the added interest of the wording, nice touch to put the whole poem in the box. Comes well packaged. All in all very happy.
