Bins great, accessories poor.
Great binoculars, just right for traveling and city use but shame about the case. Found that the one supplied would not accommodate the bins when the lens caps are attached and barely closes even when they are not. I have had to go out and spend another £20.00 on a decent case. You would think that after spending £245 quid... Also the strap attachment is rather inadequate. The only one that attaches takes up more room than the bins yet the fixture to the body of the bins makes it near impossible to attach anything else. Not wanting to rubbish these binoculars but the accessories that go with them really are very poor. Perhaps this will spark someone to do something about them. They cant help sales.

RSPB RESPONSE: Many thanks for your review. We are pleased that you like the binoculars, and are sorry that you are disappointed with the case and accessories. We will bear this in mind when reviewing this and other products, and feed back to our supplier.

A brilliant pair of bins
I bought these when my full size bins were away for a lengthy repair and I found I missed having a pair to hand. I certainly hadn't expected to buy such an expensive pair as a 'standby' but i was seriously impressed with them and I haven't regretted it for a minute. They either live on the bedroom windowsill, in the car or in my handbag and tend to go everywhere with me. They are ideal for holidays as they take up so little room in hand luggage yet their performance is outstanding. I took them on holiday recently and they were passed around several people who were wanting to buy new bins - everyone was impressed by the light weight nature of these bins and the quality of the image. I love them to bits.
