Good purchase
Clear instructions. Much better than a previous camera bought elsewhere . Very pleased with
the quality of the images. Have used it to record
the hedgehogs in the garden with great success except last night they barged past and knocked it over ! Make sure it is securely fixed.
RSPB response
Good advice! Thank you for sharing and great to know you've recorded hedgehogs in the garden.

Really pleased to have this and from the RSPB rather than commercial organisation but the user guide is not 'easy to follow'. Yes you can set it up but it's not in plain English (and I'm pretty tech savvy), not clear what all the bits in the box are for and doesn't tell you how to check the pictures (unless something missing in my box). So I've had it a few weeks but still not had the time to go research online and watch the videos people have posted about wildlife cameras to grapple with mine. Am sure it will all work out, just a bit frustrated at this early hiccup. Hence rating is in the middle as I just don't know yet!
RSPB response
Thank you for your feedback. We have added the user guide to the camera product page (check the Advice section) so you can download a copy or check you have it. For further help please contact or call us!

Good quality build and videos.
Been very pleased with the quality of the build of this camera, robust enough for the job. Picture and video quality are excellent, which is most important consideration. Perhaps a bit pricy compared to what I've seen on-line elsewhere, but we tried one £100 cheaper and it showed in the quality of construction and video quality, so sent it back and got a second one of these. Found it particularly useful at night - discovered we have a couple of regular fox visitors; most exciting, a hedgehog - didn't even know there were any in this area.
Only criticism is that although it will take a test shot, that can only be done with the case open, so if it's strapped to a tree it won't be pointing in the right direction! Have to turn it on, walk in front of it to take a picture, then got back and review it on its LCD screen to see if it's showing where I want.
