Solid build, good quality.
It is well made and can hold ten fat balls.
I have had mine for two months now.
The sparrows love it and it has a wood pecker visiting daily.
But It does attract Jackdaws, and they can eat a lot and can be messy ,
But I love Jacks and for the most part they share and the finches like to clear up their mess.
But I would recommend a tray under this feeder.

Good product.
I've had one of these feeders for a couple of years now and have been pleased with it. It holds a good number of fat balls and gives easy access to the birds. However it is not squirrel proof and I eventually had to withdraw it after the crows and jackdaws discovered it. They were getting through all nine balls within a day!

new visitors to my garden
I purchased this feeder along with three assorted hanging suet blocks to try and tempt long tailed tits to feed. Over the past few weeks when we've had the really cold weather I have noticed fleeting visits from them and a couple of starlings however the most regular feeders are a pair of Great Spotted Woodpeckers - wonderful.

Bargain
Ordered one on-line at bargain price of £5.00. Bought another at Rainham Marshes last weekend. Is very sturdy and have used with the solid bird cakes. Only complaint is that birds eat the cake too quickly!

Worth trying
I bought this feeder more in hope than anticipation. The birds in my garden didn't seem interested in the fat balls I'd put in the classic feeder so, as I had lots of balls left, I invested in one of these. Success! As I type a Starling is happily munching. :)

It took a while
It took a while for the birds to find it loaded with a mealworm cake but now it is cold it is in constant demand. Starlings, Blue Tits, Great Tits, and Coal Tits seem to be there all the time. Of simple construction it is easy to clean and the lid protects the contents. As I write there are three birds feeding from it. Why not just buy it and a suet cake to go with it.

A Success
Loaded with a bird cake rather than suet balls, as shown in the picture, my feeder was a success as soon as I hung it up. The bars are wide enough apart to allow easy access to a variety of smaller birds to feed, which they love to do.
