One of the great sights of early summer is the gliding, swooping acrobatics of the distinctively-shaped swallow. It's also a pleasure to see them at rest, grouped together on a telegraph wire, their forked tails standing out against the summer sky. Designer Rachel Bishop watched these daring little birds and has recalled their blushing colours and lively character to absolute perfection in this lovely, framed plaque.
