    Wonderful product appalling service
Having three myself and loving this, ordered at beginning of December for Christmas present for relative, paying extra for named day delivery. Not delivered, order apparently lost and very inadequate response; they cannot tell me what has happened and their only offer is to refund the delivery costs. No idea if/when it will be delivered!!

Thank you for your review, sorry that you have had a bad experience with the delivery and communication regarding this, we will look into this immediately.

Bought this in 2013, still going strong
I have had this feeder for over 3 years now and it looks as good as new. Looks very attractive hanging from an ash tree. Very easy to keep clean. I would highly recommend this. It is used by most of the birds visiting my garden including sparrows, goldfinch, blue tits, great tits, chaffinch, robin etc. I usually put sunflower hearts in mine. At this time of year, a huge crow sits on one branch of the tree and in a very dignified manner, eats from the feeder hanging on an opposite branch. I could easily move the feeder to an inaccessible branch but there is enough food for all the birds and the crow makes me laugh.

    Fabulous
I don't normally post reviews but this product is such a success on my balcony, I just had to write one! I filled it with sunflower hearts and the Blue Tits took to it at once, even popping inside the apple to feed, and now the Chaffinches and Siskins are using it too. Hasn't rained yet so don't know how waterproof it will, be but it is such an attractive feature on the balcony, it won't really matter. Highly recommended :)

    Attractive and Practical
I received this as a Christmas gift, and it's certainly an attractive yet practical present a garden bird lover will appreciate. I fill it every day with meal worms and they don't last very long! Probably because the location of the holes don't allow for a large volume of feed but do allow for ever-hungry starlings! I didn't want to put anything in that might get soggy in the rain however, despite all the rain we've had, the inside of the feeder remains dry. The size of the holes make it easy to clean and I've dropped it on the lawn a couple of times and it's survived, although that could just be luck. In the Spring I may repurpose it and fill it with nest lining material.

    A wodnerful feeder
But the nibbles got wet and clogged together and the seeds also got wet and hard and impossible to clean. The underneath got wet and mouldy but birds love feeding from it. A joy to watch

    Birds simply love it!
This is the first feeder I bought and thus I did some research into which ones yielded the best responses from the birds along with food types. In a week my garden turned into the equivalent of a 'bird bus queue' as they line up for their turn. I bought it hoping the resident robins would use it, they were more cautious but only took a few days. The starlings and their young manage it easily and the rspb 'buggy nibbles' are a huge success. I also sprinkle them on the lawn and the nesting blackbirds hoover them up! Thanks rspb and all the other reviewers as you advice really helped! I'll shall certainly be buying more feeders and lots more buggy nibbles!!

    Incredibly popular.
I have every kind of feeder in my garden and only bought this on a whim. It is now the birds' favourite of all the feeders I have. I fill it with a mixture of dried mealworms and buggy nibbles and the birds eat the lot within a few hours.

I have hung it on a tree branch next to a hanging feeder and guardian six feet off the ground. Now I always thought that blackbirds were ground feeders but one female blackbird visiting my garden has disproved this. She stands on the feeder guardian and leans forward and dips her head into one of the openings. If the contents are out of reach she pushes the feeder until it's rocking and then gets her fill. Astonishing!

Easy to maintain and very popular.
I have one of these that I fill with Feeder Mix Extra and it has proved very popular. The Nuthatches will use this in preference to my other feeders. It's amusing seeing a Nuthatch sit in it while it spins gently in the wind.
It's very easy to fill and keeps the food mix dry while providing easy access for birds. Some birds wont cling to it (only Nuthatches seem to cling to it for a while) and will visit it for a second at most while other mesh feeders allow them to cling for longer. I will probably get a second as the Nuthatches often have to queue for it then end up chasing each other and disturbing others birds trying to feed on the other feeders.

    Nice looking
This feeder looks good and I think the birds do enjoy eating the suet nibbles. However I saw a squirrel helping itself to the nibbles today so am going to have to resite it!

    Excellent
I have this attached to an empty hanging basket bracket outside my kitchen window and a steady stream of blue tits, robins and sparrows are visiting it. I'm very happy with this item and will probably purchase a second.

Lovely feeder that keeps food dry.
This feeder has proved very popular with tits, robins, starlings, gold finches and chaffinches. It looks good and is very easy to re-fill. It keeps the food dry and allows the birds to feed easily. As with all my feeders I threaded some garden wire through the hole at the top to make it more secure from squirrels who tend to gnaw through the rope loop.
