Twool is a strong, durable garden twine made in Yorkshire from Dartmoor wool. It's extremely strong and long-lasting, yet soft on gardeners' hands and plants alike. Twool is made from wool from the Whiteface Dartmoor sheep, and production helps protect this ancient rare breed. The wool is collected at source from farmers who practise regenerative agriculture and land management in Devon. Low impact dyes are used to add colour to the wool. These are preferred to natural dyes as they require less dye and water, as well as removing the need for chemicals to fix the dyes. Twool can be added to your compost heap after use as it is fully biodegradable.
