A mature hedgehog can eat about 20g each night. Provide fresh water too.

    Top tips for hedgehog health
    • A wild area of garden can provide shelter and food.
    • Ensure there is a slope or ramp out of ponds so hedgehogs can climb out.
    • Avoid using slug pellets.
    • Check for hedgehogs before strimming long grass or lighting a bonfire.
    • Don't handle baby hedgehogs unless orphaned, as the mother will abandon them.
    • If you see a hedgehog out in daylight it is probably hungry, thirsty or ill. If in any doubt, call your local hedgehog hospital.

    Useful feeding dish
I bought one of these to feed Spikes Hedgehog dry food inside a feeding station (see the RSPB website). It works very well and holds about 60-70g of the dried food, enough to feed 2 or 3 hungry 'hogs. The dish seems well made and is heavy enough to not be tipped over by an enthusiastic feeder.

As some others have said or implied, a matching, or possibly a little larger, dish to hold water would be very good.

    Nearly perfect
The hedgehog snack bowl is very well designed for its stated purpose. It's an ideal size and extremely stable. I did by an extra one, thinking to use it as a water bowl, but the hole in the centre foxed that idea. Just wish there was a similar product that was watertight.
