great product - would like a pole extension

thanks - we love this, but really need a pole extension as our cat lurks beneath the feeder - I don't feel the anti-squirrel plate would be enough - can we get an extension pole?

Not fit for purpose

I wished to buy a safe feeding station for our birds. This is just not tall enough to provide a safe place for the birds to feed out of the jumping range of cats. Unfortunately the picture is taken looking up at the feeder form very low down giving a false impression of height. It is totally unsuitable for long feeders. It is time the RSPB gave an indication of high above the ground the feeders can be placed.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you were disappointed with this. We usually recommend a minimum feeding height of 1.2m for giving birds adequate time to evade cats.

Disappointed

This arrived today, looks nice & is as shown. When my husband pressed it into the ground, (grass, soil), the supporting leg bent. So we have a leaning, very wobbly feeding station. One gust of wind & it’ll be gone. I was really looking forward to it arriving too.

Yes but....

This is great and has lasted us a good few years. But the water bowl hardens over the years until eventually it breaks. It used to be possible to buy a replacement, but that doesn't seem to be an option any more, so we are scuppered. Would be grateful if someone from RSPB Shop would advise on how to get something that fits into the ring. Thak you

Not as shown

When opened, the item only had 2 hooks not 4 as stated and shown in the image. Item appears decent quality and well put together, but not what I wanted.
