Super suet bars

I got some of these as part of a box set and they are the top fav in our city garden. We only have one feeder that will accommodate these at the moment and there is all out warfare to get to it!

I have the square cake variety of these (came with the Barn bird table) and the feathery occupants of the garden adore them. Starlings, Jackdaws, Blackbirds, Sparrows, Great tits, and Doves so far just cannot get enough! The comedy value of the starlings alone is worth it.

Highly recommended, I will certainly be buying more when they've finished off the ones I have.

The birds that visit my garden are certainly suet fans. I put these in a square treat feeder and also loose on the bird table, and I can't put them out fast enough.
I get mainly Starlings, although while they are breeding at the moment I also get a couple of Blue Tits, Great Tits, Robins and Sparrows.
They are also a firm favourite with the Wood Pigeons, Doves and Magpies, along with a couple of cheeky squirrels!!!
They are much better to handle that the sticky suet in some other blocks, and are OK to put out in the summer without them making a mess.

Loved by our garden birds but also by foxes. We put one out every night for our visiting fox who carries it away to make sure nothing else gets it. We've started buying the square suet cakes for the birds to keep up with the demand.

In my last house, Suet might as well have been gold or diamonds lying out in the garden for the speed that it was gobbled up! At the new place though, sadly suet isn't liked very much so along with some other stuff, I picked up 6 of these suet bars out of curiosity.

The bars themselves feel very high quality - the suet is waxy and buttery, not hard and crunchy like other inferior brands. They're clearly great stuff and I get in my last place they've have been gone within minutes - sadly, here, the birds won't touch the stuff and I had to put them on the ground to be devoured by squirrels (or maybe rats?).

Great quality bars, highly recommended - if you're in an area with birds that like suet.

(For reference, we get: Robins, Blue Tits, Great Tits, Thrush, Starlings, Jays, Jackdaws, Pigeons, Magpies, Collared Doves and a few other misc birds as well as lots of squirrels).

The birds have always liked these but as it is now breeding season, they are getting through 3 sticks a day. The starlings, sparrows, great tits and blue tits can't seem to get enough of these bars and squabble over who is going to cling on to the feeder. I also crumble one of the bars up and put it in the ground feeder and on the other bird table so that blackbirds and robins can also enjoy it, which they do. The bars don't feel like sticky suet - they remind me texture wise of the creamy fudge us humans like to eat! They crumble easily without mess too. When its cold I keep them indoors rather than in the garage as this keeps them softer and easier to crumble.

I have brought these a few times now and found them to be great. They not messy to handle and of course do not roll around due to the shape and i found the best part is you can break them in half and crumble them up a little if you wish to or place them anywhere you wish. Mine also go quickly due to having many starlings in our garden but when they not around all other birds will have a little nibble on them. I have used them on the ground and a bird table and also hanging from a tree and found they always eaten by the birds.

These Suet bars I cannot highly recommend enough, the birds just keep on devouring the lot!!!! Highly recommended!!!!!!

I bought these to feed alternately with the square suet cakes so I could feed less each day without messily breaking up cakes. I chuck them on my outbuilding roof as its safer (marauding cats) and it tempts other birds down such as jackdaws which don't like to come into my garden. I can also put a few out so more birds can feed rather than having them all squabbling over one cake which puts off some of the non-flock birds. They are usually gone in 2 days although the occasional one will linger on for a while. It's mainly starlings and blackbirds eating them in my garden.
