Good but fragile
Get binoculars for kids, by far the best I've ever used - all the others ones I've tried we're just toys pretending to be binoculars whereas these are proper binoculars with good optics.

The downside (as the other reviewer found) is that they are easily breakable. They don't come with a neck strap for health and safety reasons (according to the shop - I checked as I anticipated a problem) but instead have a wrist strap. This is just perfect for six year olds to seeing the binocs round and round until they drop them and they smash. Totally predictable.

I'd take the wrist with a neck strap - safe enough to add a quick release.

So I'd recommend them, but they will probably end up broken.

Nice binoculars but fragile for child
Easy for 7 year old to use but broke when they slipped from his hands onto a soft surface.

RSPB response

Thank you. We are sorry and surprised to hear this. These do come with a wrist strap to reduce the risk of this happening, though we wouldn't expect these to break so easily. Please could you contact our customer services team with more information?
