This 3kg tub of buggy nibbles is a great alternative to peanuts. They can be fed from a mesh Nut & Nibble feeder, a table, or on the ground, and are enjoyed by most garden birds.

Made in the UK from top quality suet, they're a firm favourite with many garden birds.

Our suet products are specially formulated to make them suitable for year-round feeding. However, if positioned in direct sunlight they may soften or melt in very hot weather. If this is happening, try placing them in a shaded spot instead, or waiting until the weather is cooler.

More please ... !
"More please!" That's what the birds are twittering! I had never bought these buggy nibbles until a week ago, so thought I'd see what the birds thought of them. Wow! The birds loved them and nibbled their way through them as fast as I could refill the feeder, so I have just ordered a 3kg tub. It's great too that the buggy nibbles can be used in a mesh peanut feeder.

Beating the squirrels
These are a useful complement to the big suet balls: the blackbirds and starlings can't hang on the smaller mesh of the nibble feeder, so the little birds get a chance. It also seems to keep the squirrels out, until the furry little bandits bounce about on it so much that it unscrews and crashes to the lawn. I've seen supposed squirrel-proof suet, with chilli powder added, on sale elsewhere: does the RSPB have an opinion on whether or not it works and is a good idea?
