    Consumed QuickTime
I bought a number of these when on offer. All the contents were readily consumed by our feathered visitors. It seems the better quality food you put out the guest list gets bigger.

    Too much plastic packaging
Good quality products, but the suet balls come double wrapped in plastic and as all the individual items are separately wrapped it was sickening to throw so much plastic packaging away (whether for recycling or not). This is a thorny problem, but it does need to be tackled by the RSPB, for obvious reasons. Better for the planet to buy in bulk.... if you can afford it!
    RSPB response
Thank you. Improving packaging is a huge project for us. We are currently moving our bird seed into fully recyclable packaging and trialling plastic-free suet. Our suet's high fat content presents a challenge, but we hope to have a solution very soon.
