Excellent

We bought an identical Apple from the manufacturers soon after they first started making them (we live local to them). This was not long after we got our first two Bernese Mountain dogs in 2005. Since then, it has survived intact apart from having to replace the hanging cord once. It is completely frost hardy (it even survived “the Beast from the East”).
During the nesting season it is very popular.
Apart from the cord, the only maintenance we had had to do is to remove algae by rubbing it with a soft scouring sponge and soapy water, and then rinse it to get rid on any detergent residue.
It’s not only functional it is very attractive too. It’s a pity I can’t attach of photo as I have a “cracker” I took in December 2007.
