Lovely
I’ve had this from around November 2020 and put it on my bedroom (1st floor) window.
Easy to assemble and stuck perfectly first time. We did realise when we looked at it from the garden that it’s quite lopsided and so we tried to take it off to straighten it but it’s well stuck! (We don’t want to try too hard and break it, besides it’s only my OCD it bothers, no seed falls out nor does it stop birds visiting).

I originally just put some seed in it, but I recently got some free buggy nibbles and the birds are LOVING those, so will concentrate on using them in the future.

I keep my blinds closed up to the point of the feeder (placed it in the middle) and more recently I can be closer to the window and the birds don’t mind, they still come and eat.

Mostly starlings use this feeder but I have seen the odd tit.
No big birds have come near this despite plenty being around the garden below.
Any seeds that fall onto the window sill are also gobbled up, so never really any mess.

Not up to standard
I purchased this in good faith. It was placed high on the window under the awning. The first bird to land on it dislodged it. It was put back. It happened again a short time later. A third bird attempted to feed from it, not seen as the curtains were closed against a very bright sun, and it fell off the window and broke on the ground. Was looking forward to seeing birds close up as I am chair-bound and cannot get out. Despite the four suckers, it fell off. Will not be buying another one.
RSPB response
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear this. We do recommend wetting the suction cups before fixing them onto the window, as this will help to secure the feeder. If this problem persists, please contact our customer services team.

Good...but a problem
I was pleased that after a couple of weeks many birds were attracted to this feeder.Unfortunately the pigeons and magpies have found it! I've done as suggested and placed it high on the window. I've nothing against these birds but they tend to eat everything very quickly. I've left this review because the description makes a point of saying wood pigeons may find it difficult to feed from it...they don't!
RSPB response
Thank you for your review. We are glad that you and the birds are enjoying this feeder and will update our guidance regarding wood pigeons.

Survived being smacked off the window by a big fat seagull
Bought this after hearing someone from RSPB on the radio recommending window feeders. I have an almost 2 year old and she LOVES seeing all the birds coming past for a snack. A big fat seagull came and in its greedy over-excitement knocked this off my first floor window and I thought it was surely going to be smashed to bits - but it’s survived. Sturdy, pretty on our window and has brought some joy during lockdown!
