Effective and attractive
I was bought these as a present and was very pleased with them. I wanted them for the suet balls. I had previously bought suit blocks with a built in hanger which didn’t last two minutes and partly ended up on the floor. This not only looks attractive, but does the job also and the balls last much longer.

So incredibly disappointed!
I bought 2 of these just over a year ago - at a greater price than £14 too. I used them for less than two weeks in entirely different locations in the garden to the same affect. I specifically bought them for feeding suet nibbles to small garden birds but these didn't get a look in. Magpies and crows cleared
these out chop chop finding it relatively easy to hang on to the openings whilst feeding at leisure. Not only did I not want to feed these birds, I couldn't afford to do so even if I wanted to! So disappointed and an entire waste of money!
RSPB response
We are sorry to hear this. While this feeder is not designed to deter large birds, the small size should make it more difficult for them. However, corvids are clever and determined creatures. We would recommend using a feeder and guardian.
