RSPB > Books > Bird books
Most bird books are designed to help you identify the birds that you have seen. This book is different.
It is a species-by-species guide that shows you how to find and watch nearly 300 species of birds that can be seen in Britain. Some are common, others are rare migrants or scarce breeding birds, but this book will tell you the best places to see all of them.

It is packed with tips on how to see your most coveted species and how to enjoy rewarding watching experiences that will enhance your understanding of all these British species and their behaviour.

    The Stuff Field Guides Forgot
This is the missing link between our field guides and seeing the birds themselves. No more wouldn't it be lovely to see one of those. This guide will help you track down each species you want to see. If that isn't enough it even lists specific reserves for harder to find species. It's laid out in an aesthetically pleasing way which is easy to use especially if flicking from one species to the next.
