This spiral design, squirrel-resistant bird feeder guardian fits over RSPB Premium and Classic bird feeders. The mesh provides protection for smaller birds from predators and should prevent an average-sized squirrel from entering the cage.
Can be hung from a hook or mounted on an RSPB green garden pole. Bird feeder guardians are easy to clean and assemble. Made from strong, powder-coated steel, with potential foot-traps designed out. If desired the base can be inverted to act as a seed tray to catch dropped seeds. Feeder not included.
Squirrels are clever and determined creatures. To reduce the risk of them reaching and attacking feeders and guardians, try to locate the feeder at least 2 metres away from any potential jumping off point such as a tree, fence, post or wall, and consider using a baffle with the feeder.
