If you have an RSPB gift card we recommend you register it to protect the balance in case it gets lost or stolen. You can register your card and check the balance on our dedicated gift card site by clicking here. Please note your Gift card log in account is separate from your RSPB shopping account.
Q: Who can I contact if I have a query?

Q: Can I protect the balance on my card?
A: Yes. To secure against loss or theft we advise you to register your card online. Registration is easy and only takes about 5 minutes. If your card is lost or stolen, please report this online as soon as possible. We will then send you a replacement card in the post with your remaining credit.
Q: What happens if the card is stolen and used before I report it?
A: We can only transfer any unused balance to a replacement card once the card has been reported lost. We cannot reimburse any balance used between the loss of the card and you visiting this website and reporting it lost.
Q: If I register a card, is the balance on the card automatically protected?
A: No. The balance on any card can only be protected from unauthorised use if you report the card lost or stolen before the balance is used. There is no guarantee on the balance.
Q: If I report a card lost and then find it again, can I report it found?
A: No. Once you report a card as lost or stolen, it cannot be reversed. You must wait for a replacement card to be mailed to you.
Q: Is there a charge for this replacement card service?
A: No. This is a free service to all cardholders. However, RSPB Sales Ltd reserves the right to charge a fee if you request a replacement card twice within 6 months.
Q: I have more than one RSPB Gift Card, can I register more than one at the same time?
A: Yes. You can register all of your cards at the same time, or as and when you acquire new cards. Alternatively you can transfer all balances onto a single card at any RSPB store nationwide.
Q: Can I use my card in any RSPB store?
A: Your card can be used for payment in RSPB stores nationwide and online at www.rspbshop.co.uk . Please note, you cannot currently pay using a gift card on our mobile store.
Q: How do I top up my card?
A: Gift cards cannot be topped up, as they will become invalid 18 months from the date of purchase.
Q: Does my card have an expiry date?
A: After an 18 month period from the date of purchase it will cease to be valid and the remaining credit will expire and be donated to the RSPB.
Q: Can I be refunded for a gift card?
A: No, gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
You can obtain an RSPB Gift Card at any RSPB store nationwide. Your RSPB Gift Card is issued by, and remains the property of RSPB Sales Ltd, The Lodge, Sandy, Bedfordshire SG19 2DL. Once activated, your Gift Card can be used for payment in RSPB stores nationwide and online (except our mobile store) at www.rspbshop.co.uk. Upon presentation of this card, payment for merchandise in full (or part if there is insufficient balance) will be deducted from your current balance. Your new balance will be shown on your receipt every time you make a purchase. This can be used for payment on future purchases; no change will be given.
When buying in store the minimum amount to activate a gift card is £5. The maximum card limit is £250. For online purchases the card values are set amounts. If you have any query regarding the balance on your card you can check your balance at any time online or in any RSPB store nationwide. The Gift Card, once activated cannot be exchanged for cash.
Register your card at www.rspbshop.co.uk to protect your balance in the event of your card being lost, stolen or destroyed. Please treat the card as cash, it is not a credit card, charge card or debit card. If you lose your gift card or if it is stolen you may lose any stored value currently on the card in the same way as if you lost your wallet. RSPB Gift Cards can only be registered at a UK address.
If you have registered your Gift Card through this website, you should report this loss or theft immediately at www.rspbshop.co.uk or by contacting Customer Services on 0345 034 7733 between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm seven days a week. RSPB Sales Ltd, at its sole discretion, will replace your Gift Card and transfer any stored value credit onto a new card. Circumstances in which RSPB Sales Ltd may determine, in its sole discretion, that it will not replace your Gift Card include those where it reasonably believes that the notified incident has been caused by your wilful breach of these Terms and Conditions or if there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that you are or have been engaged in fraudulent or other unlawful conduct.
If RSPB Sales Ltd agrees to replace your Gift Card, a replacement card will be delivered to your registered home address, usually within 5 days of you first notifying RSPB Sales Ltd of the incident. RSPB Sales Ltd reserves the right to charge a replacement card fee for each replacement card in the event that you are issued with more than two replacement cards within any 6 month period.
Your Gift Card balance is valid for an 18 month period from the date of purchase. After 18 months any remaining credit will expire and be donated to the RSPB .
Complaints regarding any element of the service provided by RSPB Sales Ltd should be sent in writing or by email to Customer Services at The RSPB, The Lodge, Sandy, Bedfordshire SG19 2DL or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Financial Ombudsman Compensation Service is not applicable to your Gift Card. RSPB Sales Ltd do not offer any other compensation schemes to cover losses claimed in connection with your Gift Card.

RSPB Sales Ltd shall not be liable for any default resulting directly or indirectly from any cause beyond our control, including but not limited to, failure of network services and failure of data processing systems. To the extent permitted by law, all conditions or warranties implied by law, statue or otherwise are expressly excluded.
RSPB Sales Ltd reserves the right to amend or waive any provision of these Terms and Conditions from time to time and at any time, or to terminate the RSPB Gift Card program on reasonable notice. The Terms and Conditions applicable to the use of a RSPB Gift Card shall at any time be the terms and conditions published on the RSPB website www.rspbshop.co.uk
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law.
