The birds used this pretty much straight away, perfect! As soon as I had put this up on the kitchen window Robin was quick to make his way into it followed by the Blackbirds and then Pied Wagtail. I love sitting and eating dinner and seeing the birds 'join' us for food.
No complaints at all, find it very sturdy and easy to stick, it's strong and the birds love it! Highly recommended to anyone wanting to see the birds up close and get treats which the larger birds have yet to have any success to get too. By Samantha, on 19 Apr 2017
Perfect entertainmentI was given this feeder and last spring a Collar Dove nested in it so I was able to watch the squab hatching and then fledge. Then through the year Mother and baby returned to feed. I live in a residential home and it is perfect for me to watch . I am ordering another as it has broken so look forward to this years nesting I hope. By Lady Diana, on 11 Jan 2017
Great pigeon feederThis product mentions Great Tits and Blue Tits and that was attractive to me as they are sweet little birds who make little or no mess. This feeder however, is frequented by pigeons, sometimes two at a time who are completely fearless. Most recently I was surprised to discover a massively fat Wood Pigeon sitting in it, throwing all the seeds onto the floor of my balcony. Lovely. The attraction of pigeons has led to the attraction of crows who try to eat the pigeons, really not what I had in mind. It will have to go. By Vixipixi, on 17 Jun 2016
Window bird feeder
- Product information
Here's a wonderful way to feed and watch wild birds up close. The tough, non-yellowing polycarbonate bird feeder attaches to your window with three strong suction cups and the tray detaches easily from the roof/back section (without removing the suckers) for cleaning and refilling.
Suitable for year-round feeding - and a fabulous gift for anyone.
Great for feeding mealworms, sprinkles, nibbles and bird seed.
How to install your window feeder
- Ensure the window is clean and dry.
- Soak the suckers in warm water to make them pliable, then fit them onto the back plate of the feeder.
- Attach the back plate to the window, without the food tray.
- Leave for at least 3 hours before attaching the food tray, to give time for the suckers to settle and achieve maximum adhesion.
- If desired, attach a length of string to the feeder to tether it. This will ensure that the feeder won't fall to the ground if it does come unstuck or is dislodged.
