This neat little feeder has a domed roof to help protect birds whilst they eat, and keep food dry in wet weather. Made from tough polycarbonate, the dome slides up and down so you can deter larger birds if you wish.

Perfect for our dried mealworms: a great source of protein and calories valuable during the hectic breeding season and through colder weather.

  • Includes feeder and 200g Dried mealworms.
  • Dome measures 15.5cm diameter.

Absolutely fantastic
I don’t know who loves this more, the birds or me! From my point of view it’s easy to use and easy to clean. For the birds, it’s easy and safe to feed from. And we all love watching them - various tits, robins, even thrushes.. We’ve hung it from a shepherd’s crook type stand, but actually prefer having it among the leaves of an acer tree - with access routes cleared. We always over-fill it too, so that blackbirds can feed below. Terrific bit of kit.

Had this feeder for years
I bought this several years ago. I find it easy to move the dome up to place seeds in the feeder then pull it down to ensure only small birds can use it. It has been hanging on my Berberis and various other shrubs in my garden. For the last few months it has been on a metal feeder pole. The metal pole blew over in very high winds but the little plastic feeder remains in tact. Easy to clean. I fill it with sunflower hearts. I like it as do the birds.

Ideal Feeder
This is my first bird feeder and it took the local birds a while to warm up to it. It is now visited daily by blue tits and great tits, and I've also seen a robin! I use a mixture of mealworms and high energy sprinkles and this seems to keep them coming back.

Initially, we found that the squirrels were very acrobatic and could hang down from above and grab onto the feeder that way. We've since lengthened the wire the feeder hangs from and this has scuppered them. It was certainly fun to watch them try, though!

I would really recommend this feeder. It's the perfect size to keep larger birds from hogging all the food and very easy to clean.
