Product description

This special long-handle cleaning brush is suitable for tubular feeders, so you can keep your bird feeders clean and your birds healthy.

Feeder hygiene is important to your birds' health. Common garden bird diseases are spread if contaminated droppings mix with food and birds run the risk of picking up the infection, particularly during the warmer months, so it's really important to clean your feeders (and bird tables) on a regular basis.

This brush is suitable for our tallest feeders, so you can easily keep your long, tubular bird feeders clean.

  • Easy cleaning of tubular bird feeders.
  • Soft bristles that won't damage or scratch.
  • Long, rustproof stainless steel handle to ensure thorough cleaning of even the tallest bird feeders.

How to use

Rotate the cleaning brush to clean all parts of the feeder tube, ensuring you reach right down to the base. Remove the base of longer feeders and clean from both ends. Rinse the feeder thoroughly after cleaning and allow to dry before refilling.

Bristles fall out too easily
I've had one of these brushes less than a year, ideal for cleaning the biggest of seed feeders. I've maybe used it around six times in that time. Each time I have noticed the odd bristle coming free in use but today so many came out that the whole lot eventually ended up falling out onto the gravel. Nightmare to collect them all... It would seem they are not fixed into the metal pole by anything. Once enough have come adrift there is nothing to support those remaining. I'll go back to the dish cleaning brush I think.

RSPB response: Thank you for your review, sorry to hear that you received a faulty brush it should not come apart as you have described. We will look into this with our supplier but in the meantime please contact customer services who will be able to help.

Fine Product
Great cleaning brush with the right length needed. The only thing i have noticed this is a very soft brush of course and trying to clean old feeders which do not come part (none easy cleaning ones) can be hard to clean stubborn seed right at the bottom of it.. Otherwise a great & handy brush to have

So, So
Cheap brush with a good length to reach easy down a feeder to clean. Only problem for myself i think the bristles are a little to soft and does not take away anything heavy on the outside of the feeders (bird dirt) Others wise is OK
